Aram Se — a simple, heartfelt phrase in Hindi that means "take it easy" or "do it comfortably." It’s the kind of advice you give a friend rushing to meet you: “aram se ... don’t rush, I’m just chilling.” It’s not just a phrase, it’s a way of life. It's a gentle reminder to pause, breathe, and take a moment for yourself.
With this at the root, Aram Se Chai invites you to slow down and carve out time in your day for chai — brewed and sipped, at your own pace, in the comfort of your home or favorite cozy corner.
For most chai drinkers in India, chai time is the best time. It's not about the drink but about the ritual, the feeling, and the way you connect. Across homes, workplaces, and local chai stalls, chai is served with smiles, laughter, and conversations big and small. It's a familiar pause to the chaos. The world slows down just a little and life feels a bit warmer.
Aram Se Chai is about creating that space for yourself. It’s about embracing the calm, indulging in a pause, and making time for what matters most: you. Whether a peaceful morning moment, a break in a busy workday, or an evening of quiet reflection, let chai be the warm cup of comfort that grounds you.
This is not just chai. It’s an invitation to experience the world through a softer lens, step back from the rush, and to live life the "Aram Se" style.
I was born and raised in India and, later, moved to the US for further studies. I lived in San Francisco, married my university sweetheart in Big Sur, spent 3 wonderful years in Singapore, and now in Tokyo.
I’ve always been drawn to creating spaces for connection and joy. As the founder of Ella Rose Anthology, a modern floral company, I’ve worked with clients to craft intimate and meaningful moments through flowers. Hosting flower design workshops is one of my favorite ways to connect with others — teaching the art of floral design while creating beauty for our spaces and souls. I’ve also been privileged to serve as a board member for a nonprofit dance company that brings people of all ages together to simply dance and share in their movement and happiness.
Recently, I launched Aram Se — a chai brand inspired by the idea of slowing down. “Aram Se” means “take it easy” in Hindi. This phrase reminds us to pause, breathe, and care for ourselves. Through Aram Se, I hope to bring the comforting ritual of homemade chai to your home, encouraging you to take a break, one cup at a time.
Let’s sip, savor, and take it slow — Aram Se
